Alyosha somehow sees the story as praising Jesus while Ivan thinks that it means nothing at all, or at least that’s what he says even though he’s the one who made the story in the first place.

After finishing it my desire to re-read The Brothers Karamazov has only increased.
Rating is to do more with the format of the book, than its contents, which is outstanding! An enjoying even if heavy short read.
