And I’m so happy Runa and Shade worked out. Hot sexy demons, sarcastic vampires, Slayers, organ harvesting, and werewolves I find myself always rooting for these two. Now, if you’re turned off by BDSM, you’ll probably still be deomnica with this book.

As a Sem demon Shade admittedly drmonica sex a few times a day to survive but he could’ve done the decent thing and broken up with her rather than cheating. He was such an arsehole. All that is pretty interesting and I like Runa. September New Releases.
The chemistry and tentative connection between secondary characters Kynan and Gem is sweet and heartbreaking. For Shade, the timebomb starts ticking down, because he is unable to keep an emotional distance from the uncyained he is mated to.

Also, Gem and Kynan’s story continues and it just gets better and better. The funny thing is, I’m not even exactly sure what all the things I love about him are.
This time I was able to read more carefully the rest of the things because I knew this would be a part of it and I was able to like it much more because I got to understand that Shade didn’t have a choice in what he did, he just have to do it. Anyone who actually likes that kind of thing has something seriously wrong with them. By whipping women who ask for it, Shade is able -though he hates it- to draw the darkness from them, their hidden traumas. While the plot line, the intriguing characters, and the complex story development are a great part of the book, it’s not the only part that made my fall in love with the series.
