Again, I understand that this was not the point of the book, but some background history information never hurts! Search for a book to add a reference. I knew that there was a secret in Nina’s past from the first few daphme, but then it was avoided for more than half the book – we weren’t even given hints! For someone who doesn’t know the history and what was going on – there was no introduction nor explanation.
Just because she was self-centered all her life and thought only of herself and her career I don’t understand how Nina could have just ran without even talking to her husband?!
