Molly’s Lips: Club Mephisto Retold
She forges an intense connection with Mephisto as he teaches her how to submit more fully, but she returns to her own Master at the book’s close, and does so happily. Preview — Club Mephisto by Annabel Joseph.
This novel is book 2 of the Club Mephisto trilogy. By the end of it, I wanted to kill, torture or just swear to almost all people involved. I’d never really considered what a burden it must be for a Master to have someone so completely dependent on them all of the time, as much as they are the one who gets to make all the decisions they must also always have the slave’s best interests at heart and make sure that they are safe and cared for.
I’ve read quite a few novels containing BDSM now and although it isn’t a lifestyle I’m involved in I find it fascinating to read about. But, aside from the club itself, the world of BDSM is also explored illustrating the dynamics between Doms and Slaves, which was quite eye opening to me as I had no idea how intense and how deeply this relationship went.

But Clayton being 20 years her elder has never been as tough on her as he could have been because he loves her as deeply as she loves him. This book was a fair read, a tale of lifestyle submission to a loving ‘owner’. It’s very thorough in its explanations.
It’s a new and foreign concept to me, but hey, I hoped I was going to learn something through these characters. She jossph recognized for writing emotionally intense BDSM storylines, and strives to create characters that seem real–even flawed–so readers are better able to relate to them.
Many thanks also to Jim M.
And of course I will check out the ending to the series, Burn for You. I like the female characters to have some sort of depth to them but Molly was so shallow – I wanted to slap her myself. So all in all I mehisto not loving Mephisto. Well, it is different and definitely not romance as the author warned. Jan 19, Christine rated it really clkb it.
So to read the events of that week Molly spent with him from his point of view is just an amazing thing – a unique viewpoint or lens through which to see what happened and, most importantly, why.
And if a Dom has a sub that is a good girl, why would he want her locked up? Can’t she have a bottle? TPE is one thing, but Molly literally has nothing in her life other than serving her Master.

Over the course of a week, Mephisto strips away privileges Molly took for granted, and forces her to understand and acknowledge the depths to which she can be made to submit. Review provided by Black Lagoon Reviews: In the beginning, when Mephisto first met Molly he’d hoped she might be his. Please review your cart. You care deeply for this younger girl you have married and formed a micromanaged TPE slavery bond abnabel with the help of staff since you’re quite a busy man yourself, with business taking up weekend hours as well sometimes. The Club Mephisto Series is very much a recommended read for me!
Review edited after reading I won’t change my review as it was how I felt after reading this book but my overall opinion has changed after reading the second book which is the same story but from Mephisto’s POV instead of Molly’s.
So there’s no inclinition to micromanage how your friend should best deal with her, as it will constitute a nice sadistic shock to find her masochistic self needing to submit to things out of the ordinary. The story was told completely from Molly’s point of view though and I couldn’t wait to get inside Mephisto’s head to try and understand why he did some of the things he did. Very interesting indeed, how someone can be pushed to the limits.
