There’s an attempt to move the plot through the framework of a crime scene investigation, but very little procedure is actually observed by the police investigators, and the eventual solution comes somewhat macbrid of thin air, too. The weakest part alle the book is actually the view of the future – there are few ideas in this story aside from those about robotics that is unusual or creative. It is not a library copy. It is difficult because Asimov became more left progressive and collectivist in his writings as the years went by.
